1. To ascertain by computation; reckon
2. To make an estimate of; evaluate
3. To make for a deliberate purpose; design

in·tu·i·tion
:
1. a. The act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition. See Synonyms at reason.
b. Knowledge gained by the use of this faculty; a perceptive insight.
2. A sense of something not evident or deducible; an impression.

forth·right:
1. Direct and without evasion; straightforward: a forthright appraisal; forthright criticism.
2. Archaic. Proceeding straight ahead.

pa·tient:
3. Tolerant; understanding
4. Persevering; constant
5. Capable of calmly awaiting an outcome or result; not hasty or impulsive.
