Tuesday, October 12th, 2010This weekend was filled with events. One, which is a campaign by Redu (a Bing/Microsoft education reform project) was held at the Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral School on Mott St. I actually didn’t know that school wasn’t even functional anymore. I had always been curious about the interior of the place, so this was my chance to check it out.

Michel Gondry’s “Brain Wave Machine” When I first saw this, I thought – “OK, who made this ITP-looking hack?” I think the price tag was around $4000 or $7000 – or something like that.
TVs With PVC Tubes
Saturday, October 2nd, 2010Installation at the Bring to Light Festival of several tv sets with PVC tubes adhered onto the screens. The tvs were playing ordinary videos of randomness and the tubes filtered out the colors in a really beautiful way.
