In Today’s Daily News 4/14

Thursday, April 14th, 2011

So, the Daily News came by the NY Hall of Science last week and took some photos of people, including me for their “On the Street” section. They’re in the print edition today. Kinda funny, but cool.

Re:form School on Mott

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

This weekend was filled with events. One, which is a campaign by Redu (a Bing/Microsoft education reform project) was held at the Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral School on Mott St. I actually didn’t know that school wasn’t even functional anymore. I had always been curious about the interior of the place, so this was my chance to check it out.

Michel Gondry’s “Brain Wave Machine” When I first saw this, I thought – “OK, who made this ITP-looking hack?” I think the price tag was around $4000 or $7000 – or something like that.

TVs With PVC Tubes

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

Installation at the Bring to Light Festival of several tv sets with PVC tubes adhered onto the screens. The tvs were playing ordinary videos of randomness and the tubes filtered out the colors in a really beautiful way.
