Being a Now-ist

January 22nd, 2015

Finished my first 3 day #juicecleanse ! 3 days of only these juices and water. It was easier than I thought, but still challenging to smell all the yummy cooking everywhere. This last one #coco-cashew #rawcocoa #rawchashews is the #bombdigitty #GingerAstoria #readyforasteak

Cassette Tapes Making a Comeback?

May 6th, 2014

Since doing some research in a class about Life Cycle Analysis/Assessment some years back, I’ve wondered about the ever expanding, masssive energy consuming as well as major space taking data centers that host all our interwebs cloudness. Even if storage space becomes smaller and alternative sources of energy are created, it still seems that they won’t be able to keep up with the demands of our digital consumption.

Now it seems Sony hasn’t totally abandoned the cassette – or magnetic tapes and may have come up with a retro solution.
